Vanessa Teo’s Take on Dyslexia and Neurodivergent Teams
We are delighted to share our latest episode of the Lexic Minds podcast, where Vanessa Teo talks about her invaluable experience parenting children with dyslexia and promoting neurodiversity in the workplace. As both a mother of two dyslexic boys and an HR leader, Vanessa discussed her journey of early diagnosis, the importance of educational therapy, and strategies for helping neurodiverse individuals in academic and professional settings.
With this episode, we want to motivate parents of brilliant dyslexic children and HR professionals with the purpose of creating more inclusive work environments (thank you!).
Join us weekly for more inspiring stories and practical advice from the neurodiversity community. 🫶

Inclusive Workplaces: “The best-in-class organizations are those who have not only built a strong level of awareness and understanding through training advocacy from leadership but those that have also designed workplaces that are inclusive and accommodating to some of these needs.”
-
Advice to Parents: “Don’t be afraid to embrace the strength that your children have, and you’ll be amazed at how this can truly be that superpower once we understand how to harness that in our children.”
